We had a great afternoon wade fishing trip down in Port Aransas, Texas with Tyler and his buddy. The weather was perfect, with clear conditions throughout the day. The water was in great shape, and we wasted no time getting our lines in.

Monstrous Redfish, and Breathtaking Coastal Vistas

We started the morning over some promising-looking inshore flats, baitcasting, heavy tackle, and light tackle techniques. It didn't take long before Jennifer's rod slammed down with the telltale thump of a big Black Drum. She dug in and fought that fish hard, muscles straining as it made several powerful runs. Speckled Trout in Port Aransas!

Today was a fantastic day out on the water with Dennis and his Wife for our Private 4-Hour Inshore Fishing Trip - AM in Port Aransas, Texas. The weather was perfect, with partly cloudy skies throughout the day, which lead to good fishing conditions.

As soon as we launched the boat from Conn Brown Harbor, we started working the flats and shoreline structure, mixing up different techniques using light tackle. The Speckled Trout were really active, and it didn't take long before we started getting into fish. After that, the bite just kept getting better, with both anglers staying busy with rod-bending action. Today was a great day out on the Texas flats with Ray and the crew from North Texas. Taming the Texas Flats: An Exhilarating Inshore Fishing Expedition

We had a fantastic afternoon out on the Texas flats with Niki and a couple of her friends. March is a great time to target the variety of inshore species found in the Conn Brown Harbor area, and we made the most of the clear conditions and great water we had throughout the day.

Right from the start, the action was steady. We started off by running to a school of fish Capt. Cory had found in the morning quickly hooking into a nice Black Drum. Niki was all smiles as she fought that fish, and the energy just built from there. We kept the lures and live bait moving, and the Red Drum (also known as Redfish) started to show up. These powerful fish put up an amazing fight, carving through the water and making some incredible runs. Everyone in the group got a chance to battle one of these prized inshore species.
